Summer Programming

Extended School Year

Our 6-week summer program will offer consistent academic support, social skills development, and engaging hands-on learning. Held at our campus and led by trusted APL staff, it will be designed to help students maintain progress made from the school year during the summer break. 

Program highlights include: 

  • Targeted Academic Support: Strengthen skills in math and reading. 
  • Social Skills Development: Structured activities to build confidence and relationships. 
  • Embedded Therapy: Continuation of students’ existing treatment plans for behavior, adaptive, and communication goals, supported by APL BCBAs, CBTs, SLPs, OTs and counselors. 
  • Experiential Learning: Field trips, art, science, and recreational activities. 
  • Transition/Job Skills Training (High School Only): Workplace skills, resume building, internships, and life readiness to prepare students for life after high school.

  • Dates: July 6 – August 13, 2026 
  • Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM 
  • Location: APL’s Capitol Hill Campus 
  • Who: Students entering grades K-12 
  • Staff: APL BCBAs, CBTs, teachers, SLPs, OTs, and counselors 
  • Tuition: $5,000 (includes activity fee)
