May 1, 2020: Our students and families are continuing to find ways to create a vibrant community during the school closure and extended stay-at-home order.
One of our students has used this time to start his own bookstore! This guy is a go-getter and is sharing his interest with friends and community members. Support a small business and visit his website at www.allpointsbookstore.com.
Our staff members have continued to introduce new learning platforms during the closure, such as Prodigy (for math), ReadWorks, and Epic! (for reading/literacy), We are so proud of our teachers for trying these new tools.
Our parents continue to have a weekly “Coffee Cart” except now we chat over our lattes during an online meeting.
And we are making plans for some form of a graduation celebration to take place in June – stay tuned as those ideas develop.
If you have examples of how you are keeping in touch during this time and you would like to share, add a comment below!
