Living Our Mission:
This coming December 1st, APL is hosting our first Dance
for the middle school and 4/5 students.
Budding Philanthropist Anna Anderson from the middle
school classroom, who conceived of the event, raised over $1000 to
support the APL dance. The Steele family also put
proceeds from their Halloween Haunted House towards this event. We
look forward to an exciting evening for these students!
For Halloween, APL's spirit of community was truly embraced when all of
the classrooms participated in a fund drive for Unicef --
raising more than $137.00.

We are dedicated to ensuring every student’s success through
accelerated academic progress, social development, character building and
community involvement!
Enrichment at APL:
The Arts: Kristine Helgagar, of Museo
Art Academy, has been working with all of the APL students this past
Fall to broaden their artistic talents. Students' online gallery can be

Theater: Jimmy Nixon, of Broadway Bound, is working
with the students to put on two productions this coming Spring: 'You're a
Good Man Charlie Brown' and ' Beauty and the Beast.' Students have
been practicing weekly and intend to go see a performance of Annie in
January to see peers in action and witness the goals towards which they
are working this coming April - to put on a live production!
